Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

There are two general types of Social Security Disability, SSI and SSDI.  SSDI is a Federal program that pays benefits to workers who have a sufficient work history and have paid into the system through FICA taxes and are therefore insured. If you become unable to work SSDI may be available, if you meet a certain criteria. SSDI is meant to cover long term disability where you are unable to work for at least a year.

For many, applying for SSDI is their last option. We understand what is on the line and we are here to help.
