Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

For many individuals who do not have the requisite work history and do not qualify for SSDI,  SSI is viable option. SSI provides financial assistance to individuals who are no longer able to work and meet rigid income/asset requirements. Applying for SSI and fighting the all to common denial can be difficult and stressful.  The good news is that an attorney can often be retained on a contingency basis to help with the appeals.  That means the attorney will only get paid if you win!
